1. What CDL Lane is (and is not)
CDL Lane is an independent driver-matching and lead-referral service. We connect commercial drivers with trucking companies, carriers, and recruiting partners ("Carrier Partners") that are hiring. CDL Lane is not an employer, motor carrier, staffing agency, recruiter, or agent of any driver or Carrier Partner. We do not hire drivers, dispatch loads, set pay, or employ anyone through the Site.
We do not guarantee that you will be contacted, matched, interviewed, hired, or retained; that any opportunity, pay figure, route, or schedule will be available or accurate; or that any Carrier Partner or its jobs are as described. Any pay estimates or figures on the Site (including the pay calculator) are illustrative estimates only, not offers, quotes, or guarantees of earnings. Actual pay depends on the carrier, your experience, miles, freight, and market conditions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work as a commercial driver in the United States to submit your information. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Your information & representations
You represent and warrant that the information you provide is truthful, accurate, and current, and that you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number and email address you submit. You agree not to submit another person's information without their permission. You are responsible for keeping your information accurate. Submitting false, misleading, or unauthorized information is a breach of these Terms.
4. Consent to be contacted
By submitting a form and checking the consent box, you agree to be contacted by CDL Lane and its Carrier Partners at the phone number and email you provide — including by autodialed and prerecorded/artificial-voice calls, text messages (SMS/MMS), and email — as described in our Privacy Policy. Consent is not a condition of using the Site. You may revoke consent at any time as described in the Privacy Policy (reply STOP to texts, unsubscribe from email, or email us).
5. Use of the Site
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purpose of exploring driving opportunities. All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and the "CDL Lane" name, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or exploit it without our written permission.
6. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: (a) submit false, unauthorized, or another person's information; (b) use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose; (c) scrape, harvest, spider, or use bots to access or collect data from the Site; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or interfere with its operation or security; (e) reverse engineer or copy any part of the Site; or (f) use the Site to send spam or violate the rights of others.
7. Carrier Partners & third parties
Any hiring process, offer, interview, background/driving-record check, employment, contract, pay, or dispute is solely between you and the Carrier Partner — CDL Lane is not a party to and is not responsible for it. We do not employ, control, endorse, screen for suitability, or vouch for any Carrier Partner, and we do not verify that any job posting, pay figure, or partner representation is accurate. You are responsible for doing your own due diligence before accepting any opportunity. The Site may contain links to third-party sites we do not control and are not responsible for.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND ALL SERVICES, MATCHES, LEADS, ESTIMATES, AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CDL LANE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION (INCLUDING DRIVER-SUBMITTED DATA, CARRIER POSTINGS, OR PAY ESTIMATES) IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE SITE CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HERE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CDL LANE AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, INCOME, EARNINGS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE, THESE TERMS, OR ANY CONTACT, OFFER, EMPLOYMENT, OR RELATIONSHIP THAT RESULTS FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT WILL CDL LANE'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE (WHICH, FOR DRIVERS, IS TYPICALLY $0), OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CDL Lane and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) information you submit, including inaccurate or unauthorized information; (c) your use of the Site; or (d) your dealings, disputes, or relationship with any Carrier Partner or other third party.
11. Dispute resolution, arbitration & class-action waiver
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
(a) Informal resolution first. Before starting an arbitration, you agree to email hello@cdllane.com describing the dispute so we can try to resolve it. Most concerns can be resolved this way. If we cannot resolve it within 60 days, either party may proceed to arbitration.
(b) Binding arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms that is not resolved informally will be settled by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, rather than in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
(c) Class-action waiver. YOU AND CDL LANE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or preside over any form of class proceeding. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) will be severed and heard in court, and the rest of this section still applies.
(d) 30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing hello@cdllane.com with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your name. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the courts identified in Section 12.
(e) Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, or seek injunctive relief to protect intellectual property, without arbitrating.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration section above, any dispute not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
13. General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and CDL Lane regarding the Site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may. The disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and arbitration provisions survive termination of your use of the Site.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
